To join the airplane engineering course, you need to pass Class 12 with science (Physics, Chemistry and Maths). You must get at least 50% to 55% marks in these subjects.
If you belong to a reserved category, the passing marks are even lower for you. Different colleges select students using different rules: some look at your Class 12 school marks while others ask you to pass a special entrance test. A few colleges might also invite you for a face-to-face talk (interview) before giving you a seat.

Hey there! Universities often provide admission to their B.Tech. Programs according to their unique policies. In most cases, they might consider your 12th class marks and also u performance in the entrance test. But there are some good universities that only consider your marks in 12th board for granting admission to B.Tech. programs.
I am lucky to be studying in one such university, namely Geeta University. Here you just need to have scored a minimum of 45% marks in your 12th board to gain admission in the BTech program. You don't need to give any entrance exam for admission.
