You will need to obtain an NOC from your current college and speak to the college where you wish to seek admission. A friend of mine did exactly this; he was at GGITS and faced ragging there, but the HOD held him responsible and even called his parents, claiming he had gotten into a physical altercation with a senior. However, his parents spoke to the principal and arranged for a transfer letter—for which the college's NOC is essential. You should speak to the principal; it can be done.

You do not need JEE Main scores to apply for BTech course at VIT Bhopal University. The university does not accept national or state entrance test scores for engineering admissions. Everyone must appear for their own institutional exam, called VITEEE. Your selection relies entirely on the rank you score in this specific computer-based test.

After your rank is out, you must log into the portal to start your BTech admission process at VIT Bhopal University. You will submit a list of your preferred engineering branches online. The automated system checks your rank and choice list. It then allots your seat during the official counseling rounds based on seat availability.

No, the five-year integrated M.Tech and the normal two-year M.Tech do not have the same fee structure at VIT Bhopal University. They differ in total duration, yearly breakdown, and admission categories.

GATE scholarships do not automatically cover the full annual M.Tech fees, but they provide a monthly stipend of INR 12,400 (amounting to INR 2,97,600 over two years), which closely offsets a major portion of the baseline Category 1 tuition fees.

Yes, a student's VITEEE rank directly decides their VIT Bhopal BTech fee category. Better ranks get lower fee slabs (Category 1), while lower ranks are pushed to higher fee slabs (Categories 2 through 5).
VITEEE Rank Range | Category Available |
1 – 10,000 | Category 1 |
10,001 – 20,000 | Category 2 |
20,001 – 30,000 | Category 3 |
30,001 – 45,000 | Category 3 or 4 |
45,001 – 60,000 | Category 4 or 5 |
60,000+ | Category 5 |

Yes, but only in private colleges through management quota, based on Class 12 marks, without needing WBJEE. Colleges like IEM, Heritage, Techno India, and Adamas offer this option.
Always check that the college is AICTE-approved before taking direct admission, as unapproved seats can create problems later for jobs or higher studies.
