Yeah, you probably have a pretty good chance of getting into B.Tech at LPU even with 65% in Class 12, plus a 71 percentile in JEE Main . As long as you fit the eligibility criteria for the specific program you choose, you're in the right zone. LPU generally considers JEE Main scores for B.Tech admissions , so your rank should help . Also, there's a chance your score could qualify you for a scholarship but that really depends on the admission policy for that year, like how they frame it .

The IIIT Bhopal JEE Main cutoff 2026 ranged from 27901 to 44131 for the General AI category in the first round. As per this range, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most difficult engineering branch for admission.
On the other hand, B.Tech. in Physics and Computational Engineering came out as the least competitive branch.

According to me, Galgotias University is a good option for Engineering because of its good infrastructure, modern labs, hackathons, coding contests, and regular internship opportunities. The faculty is generally supportive if you take initiative. Overall, if you focus on your skills and projects along with academics, then you will get a good exposure.

Core CSE is a great choice because it gives you a strong foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, OS, DBMS and networking. Specializations like AI & ML are also excellent if you're genuinely interested in those fields. At Galgotias University, both offer good learning opportunities, choose based on your career goals rather than just the branch name.

If it's a government seat the fees is around 1lakh 21thousand and if you want paid seat then it depends on the college.

Yes, you can get into IIIT Allahabad with a JEE Main rank of 4000 if you belong to the OBC AI category. For this category, the round 1 of IIIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2026 ranged from 2351 to 4378. See the table below to know which course can be availed.

If you belong to any other category, namely General, SC, ST, EWS or PWD, it would be difficult to gain admission at this IIIT in the first round. You can wait for the next rounds of cutoffs to be released to see if a 4000 rank is accepted.

JEE Main doesn't have to be a compulsory requirement for BTech admission in Ahmedabad though most universities accept JEE Main as a qualification, you can enroll based on other entrance exams and based on merit in your 10th results too.
