Yes, several private colleges in Mumbai like SPIT, KJ Somaiya, and DJSCE offer management quota admissions in addition to their regular entrance exam-based seats. This gives students an alternative route if they don't score high enough in MHT-CET or JEE Main but still want to study at a reputed private college.

No, only IIT Bombay requires JEE Advanced for admission. Other reputed colleges like ICT Mumbai and VJTI Mumbai accept MHT-CET or JEE Main scores instead, which are comparatively easier state and national-level exams. This gives students multiple pathways into top-quality institutes, so even if you don't crack JEE Advanced, you still have a strong shot at getting into a great engineering college in Mumbai.

Candidates are not asked to select a subject-specific module during the dMAT registration process. The portal currently provides only the General Academic Module. So there is not other subject-specific registration for Computer Science students.

No, direct admission isn't possible. IIT does not offer management quota admission or direct admission; aspirants need to appear for JEE Advanced and go through JoSAA counselling to secure a B.Tech seat at IIT (BHU) Varanasi.
