Placement prospects for CSE at Chandigarh University are strong because of multiple supportive features. The CSE & specialised programs with IBM provide not only curriculum learning but also mentorship, tools, labs like big data lab, predictiveanalytics, AI/ML & planning labs, which give hands-on experience. Faculty having industry experience and certifications helps in bridging the gap between theory and employer expectations. Students are exposed early via internships and projects, so when campus recruitment happens, many are already prepared. Recruiters come from software, IT, analytics & cybersecurity domains. As far as I know, I would like to clarify that Chandigarh University does not offers B.Tech in CSE, it offers B.E. in CSE, which is way better.
And you know what, the engineering programme at the university is globally recognized. It has accreditations from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). CU's on-campus recruitment for CSE students is quite favourable. The university has equipped students with labs, project work, and IBM-sponsored certifications, which help them during the hiring process. Because CSE with specialisations (like Data Science, AI/ML, Cloud) is offered, recruiters often target students who have exposure to the latest tools and technologies. The placement cell organises mock interviews, coding boot camps, and resume review sessions to help students become more confident. Student batches are large, giving recruiters multiple candidates to choose from.
Also, CU's engineering wing being ranked 31 in NIRF 2025 he
