Definitely, a Diploma in engineering can be joined after failure in 12 th standard. The principal criterion to entry in Diploma in Engineering course is typically 10th (Matriculation) not a 12 th pass. If you are not able to pass 12th this does not bar your taking admission in a Diploma course. Normally, you must have studied and passed 10 th with required papers like Mathematics and Science.
Diploma courses tend to involve more practical training and job-related training, and in case they are longer they may give access to higher education or employment. Upon the completion of a Diploma you can also graduate or do any higher levels of

There are certain eligibility criteria door accquring a seat in DCTMY
You must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised board.A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCM is requiredrequired
Then qualify in JEE MAIN & register for Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) counselling. Select preferred DCTM Colleges
75% seats are hired through state merit under counselling & 25% are filled by management or direct in admissions

For B.Tech in Cyber Security, prepare for some particular college entrance exam and Mains exam like JEE Mains and if you get good marks, you can get admission in IIT or NIT .
An average starting salary is INR 4-8 LPA.

With 150 marks in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions), your son is likely to get admitted in tier-2 or tier-3 engineering colleges for CSE, particularly under state quota. All over India, various institutes offer Polytechnic courses in Automobile Engineering. - No the admission is strictly through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling through Anna university.
- There are no management seat or direct admission seat available in this college.
- It's purely based on TNEA rank, The cutoff ranks for 2025 BE (General) in the range of 9,049-38,732 and B.Tech at 36,712
