To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Kingston Engineering College, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Look for the state government colleges or some regional colleges like NEHU, SMVDU, Central University Jammu. Specifically look for branches like ME, CE or BT in these since in these colleges too CSE, ECE have way higher cutoff. And also look for maximus reservation you can get.

CSE and AI & DS are most competitive — need ranks roughly below 30,000 for early admission.ECE and IT also require good ranks but allow more flexibility (final cutoff nearly 100,000).EEE, and especially Civil, are more accessible—candidates with ranks up to 150,000–185,000 may still get a seat in later rounds.
