Plaksha University offers admission to PhD programme based on entrance exam scores of the candidates. The university prefers aspirants with scores in CSIR NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, UGC-NET-JRF, GATE, IIT JAM, etc. Such shortlisted aspirants are exempted from appearing for the written test conducted by Plaksha University and are called directly for the interview round. For other selected candidates, a written test based on NET/GATE syllabus of the concerned discipline, is conducted to shortlist aspirants for the interview.

At Plaksha University, the mess food is really good, they adhere to all COVID & HACCP guidelines with regard to the health of the students. They have established the Canteen Management System and immunized their workers. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are all available. Their menu is created in collaboration with the mess committee and student life staff, giving it the ideal setting for building relationships over wholesome meals.

If a student fails internal exams in Plaksha University, the university may allow the student to repeat the internal tests that he/she wasn't able to pass during a predetermined makeup time. A second opportunity will be offered to the student to show that they comprehend the material and raise their marks.

Plaksha undergraduate education experience is designed to be fully residential and all students will be required to stay on campus. The university believe that living on campus will be a significant part of the overall student experience. 

Students coming from commerce and humanities backgrounds can apply for the undergraduate programs at Plaksha, as long as they have studied Mathematics up to Class 12. Our undergraduate degrees are BTech programs and will require the students to go through a freshmore curriculum with core engineering courses including Physics.

Plaksha accepts applications for the undergraduate programme across multiple rounds in the admissions cycle. You can submit your application only once. For example, if you have submitted your application in Round 2, you cannot apply in Round 3 or Round 4. You can however update your application with additional information.

Financial aid at Plaksha University may vary from 25% to 100% on tuition and residence costs. The financial aid that is granted at the beginning of the programme will be applicable for the duration of the programme (4 years) subject to meeting the scholarship conditions.  

At the time of admission, students are asked to indicate their preference of a major. However, they will formally declare their major only at the end of the third semester and can choose any of the four majors being offered.

The freshmore curriculum (for 3 semesters) is intentionally designed to be common among the degrees, so that students have an opportunity to be exposed to different options and make an informed choice.
