No, an IMUCET rank is not required to get admission into CUSAT (Cochin University of Science and Technology). CUSAT has its own entrance examination, called CUSAT CAT (Common Admission Test), for admissions into its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. IMUCET, on the other hand, is an entrance exam for admission into marine and nautical Science programs at institutions affiliated with the Indian Maritime University.
