No, the GATE application fee is non-transferable. It is not refundable except when a certain two-paper combination is removed. The GATE application fee does not include any service charges, processing fees, or any other charges. Candidates must make their fee payment as per their category.

The requirements for the SRMJEEE mock tests are mentioned below:

  1. Laptop with functional camera and microphone.
  2. Intel i3 (4TH Gen) or above for no lags
  3. 4gb RAM or above so that the functioning is smooth
  4. High internet Speed
  5. Any the latest browser - Mac 10.14 Mojave and above

If you can't access the SRMJEEE mock tests, you don't have worry as you can always access to third party mock tests. Although they are paid, but the costing is pretty reasonable. Students can also download the past year question papers and solve them by keeping a timer clock, this way they will be able to track their progress.

Candidates can make payment of GATE application form using netbanking, credit card, debit card or UPI. Candidates must keep a copy of transaction ID after making payment of GATE registration fee.

Yes, the GATE 2026 application form fees have been revised. The registration fee is increased for both timelines: regular and extended. Candidates are advised to check the fee carefully along with their category before paying. The registration last date is September 28 (without late fees) and October 9 (with late fees).

SRMJEEE is conducted across multiple phases. Last year, it was held in 3 phases. While filling the online application, students can fill in their details and select their preferred slot.

SRMJEEE exam day guidelines:

The exam is conducted in home based proctored mode hence students must follow these guidelines -

  • Log in to exam using details provided in admit card (Password).
  • The examination will be of 120 minutes.
  • Log in least 60 minutes before the exam to take a photograph of themselves and their ID proof and to read instructions.
  • Candidates can't end the exam before the prescribed time limit.
  • Only one question will appear on the screen, and candidates must answer the question or skip. Once moved to next question, they will not ber able to go back to answered/skipped questions.
