When you choose an MTech specialization, the subjects taught in classes revolve around that specific engineering field, covering all the advanced research-based concepts and project work. There are some core subjects that are compulsory for you to study in each semester, along with some elective subjects that you can choose on the basis of your interests and the ones you feel are industry relevant and fun to explore.

So, you have some room for customization when it comes to the elective subjects as opposed to the core modules that are mandatory for you to study.
