Best courses in polytechnic after 10th are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Hotel Management, Fashion Designing, and Diploma in Pharmacy.

Yes polytechnic is really a nice option after 10th class. You can start learning job skills early and go for many Diploma courses in Polytechnic if you want a technical career. These diploma programs mostly teach more of practical things in engineering, technology, applied science and also in creative sides like hotel management or fashion designing. After you finish the diploma you can join job directly or you can go for higher study like B.Tech or BCA or maybe B.Sc too if you want more growth in career later.

There are various specialisations offered under BTech at Chennai Institute of Technology in 2025. The tuition fee for BE courses at GEC is not charged from its female students. Ony male students are required to pay the tuition fee for GEC BE courses. In addition to this, 50% of the scholarships at GEC are reserved for female students whose age is less than 20 years with a total family income of less than INR 2 LPA.
