Not at all. You do not need any prior flying experience to go for a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. The field is about the design and development aspect of aircraft and other flight-worthy vehicles and not the flying aspect per se. Pilot Training courses cover that part in depth. For Aeronautical Engineering courses, a passion for aviation in general and mechanics can be advantageous.

Yes, you can get admission to IIIT Bangalore BTech programme without a JEE Main score. Admission is possible through other accepted channels, such as clearing the KCET entrance exam. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria via KCET or other approved exams can apply and secure a BTech seat at IIIT Bangalore.

No, you cannot join the BTech programme at VIT without meeting the minimum eligibility criteria. For admission, VIT requires candidates to have completed Class 12 (CBSE or equivalent) with at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Falling below this threshold disqualifies candidates from direct admission, so scoring less than 75% in PCM will make you ineligible.

Columbia University does not set any minimum eligible scores for international students who want to join the MS programs. But, it is needed for the students to make sure to score above 320 on the GRE and over 700 on GMAT for successful admission.

Also, students who scored nicely and performed well academically and were involved in relevant internships may get some sort of relief in standardized test scores.

Admission to Bengal Institute of Technology and Management's M.Tech programme is mainly entrance-based. Priority is given to GATE or PGET score holders during selection. Application submission, verification of documents, and payment of fees are the final admission procedures. Merit-based and transparent selection by the institute is ensured for M.Tech applicants.

Yes, JEE Main scores are accepted by Bengal Institute of Technology and Management for BTech admissions. Candidates with valid JEE Main scores and 45% in Class 12 can apply. Admission is done based on the institute's own merit list. JEE Main-passed students have an alternative to WBJEE for securing admission in BTech.
