Private universities like Galgotias, Sharda, LPU will give you admission based on your marks, and academics don't matter for them, just give them fees and that's it.

In my opinion, you should attempt JEE Mains and take a GETI instead of going for these private universities. IPU is a good option for low rank and middle-class students, there are other state-funded universities which are better than them, they must be your last to last priority.

For OBC, Generally more than 300 is sufficient to get into Nits but depends on which branch you want to get in. For CSE branch minimum 473, For ECE 352 etc. Hope this will help you. Thank you !

Well you need to specify the MIT college full form. But still let me tell you that if you want to go to a very big university you need to have at least 75% otherwise you cannot get a good college.

Of course you pursue your B.Tech from Cambridge's university or any abroad but you need to keep in mind that you need to be great in the mechanical branch and should have very good marks plus the eligibility criteria be fulfilled by you.
