Hello Sudhakaran, yes of course. Students who have completed their Diploma in engineering are authorised for admission in second year of 4 year engineering degree course. This is called as lateral admission process. Normally speaking marks obtained in Diploma are the criteria for admission in engineering graduation. Many colleges also update this information on their website. I would therefore suggest that you have a look at the website of either of these institutions to know the latest situation. Dear Ayushman, I have no idea about the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal but being alumni of LPU I can assure you that both CSE and ECE programme at LPU is good in terms of placements and quality education. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE/ECE is good at LPU. Great Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE /ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. Dear Sujith, I don't think so that it is mandatory but you can choose it as an elective subject. My friend did B.Sc (Hons. ) in Physics from LPU and now working in the research sector.
