With a VITEEE rank of 52,518, you may get admission to branches with lower cutoffs at VIT, such as Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Biotechnology, depending on the campus. More competitive branches like Computer Science or Electronics usually require a much higher rank. Your chances improve at VIT Chennai and VIT Vellore campuses for less sought-after courses.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), commonly known as IPU, follows a region-based reservation policy for admission to its affiliated colleges. This policy divides available seats into two major quotas:

  • Delhi Region Quota
  • Outside Delhi Region Quota

This reservation system applies to most undergraduate and postgraduate programs (except for a few like MBBS/BDS, where national counselling applies).

For top branches like CSE, you should consider private engineering colleges.

MNNIT Allahabad saw a fluctuating trend for admission to the BTech in Electrical Engineering course over three years for the OBC category students under the HS quota. Comparing the JoSAA Round 6 cutoff, the closing rank was 4710 in 2023; the cutoff rank saw a significant jump in 2024 with a cutoff closing at 19387. In 2025, the cutoff rank further decreased to 4845 for admission to BTech in Electrical Engineering. This pattern signifies that the competition for B.Tech in Electrical Engineering keeps fluctuating; however, in 2025 it was particularly hard for aspirants to avail admissions.
