Dte of Tech education of Maharashtra has on its website, information about possible branches that a Diploma holder can choose based on present branch in Diploma. Your second query is : Can you get admission in government engineering college? Yes, you can. JEE Main scores used for getting admission in NITs and CFTIs in B.Tech courses not for scholarship purpose. So you can not get scholarship on the basis of JEE Main marks in NITs& CFTIs. However you can get scholarship in few private engineering colleges on the basis of rank you obtained in JEE Main.
