Therefore I feel that you may not be eligible to pursue Ph.D. in any other subject in Humanities. But you can pursue Ph.D. in information technology in which you already have a post graduation. Basically Ph.D. means doing research and the degree awarded is Ph.D. in respective of the field in which one does it. But then there could be instances where some private University may allow you to pursue your dreams. But you need to find the sword by contacting the administrative staff of the concerned University.
