The department of VIT civil engineering has well-equipped laboratories (all lab has EMIL equipment), research facilities and state-of-art computing facilities. The civil engineering department encourages students to participate in various techno-cultural events. B.Tech is a course which is quite demanding. It needs a set standard of facilities. Should be of a good college which is of repute so that it can give the best academic excellence in the form of best faculty who are there to help you. Added to this, well-equipped labs and library. Exposure of the students to the world market and a wide platform for the student to deal with the world level activities is a must. These days due to COVID-19 some good universities I have heard like Lovely Professional University has started the process of filling the application forms online only. The universities have molded their admission process to suit the new crisis. Even the universities which were taking entrance exams have started online direct admissions and the entrance test would be taken at a later stage when the government allows the reopening of colleges. So B.Tech admission needs either a score in JEE Mains or there are entrance exams in all the universities. Best for you would be to browse some good university sites like ANNA, SRM, LPU, etc. As many good academic offers are being given in the form of scholarships and online mode of admissions. You also need to check the placements as it has an important place in your career.
