B.Tech engineering is a good branch with bets placements. I am afraid that in Tamil Nadu you would have to give TANCET for admission in universities of repute like ANNA, Christ etc. There are equally good universities offering good academics and placements like LPU which has received the award for best placements for three consecutive years. Similarly SRM too is going great. Institutions are going for many strategies to make their students more enterprising. Browse through some good sites like LPU, SRM, NALSAR etc. and check the academic excellence offered. Also check the scholarship slabs.

B.Tech is a course which is quite demanding. It needs a set standard of facilities. Should be of a good college which is of repute so that it can give the best academic excellence in the form of best faculty who are there to help you. Added to this, well-equipped labs and library.
