Bharatiya Engineering Science and Technology Innovation University is one of the best university to pursue BTech. While the university has some positive aspects like decent infrastructure, experienced faculty, and some international collaborations, it also faces criticism regarding location and work-life balance. The BTech programmes offered at the university cover core courses in the areas of Bio Technology, Agricultural, CSE, Data Science, Cyber Security, and others.

All the Mechanical Engineering colleges in India follow a balanced approach as a part of their curriculum where there are semester exams every 6 months to test the students' understanding of the Mechanical Engineering subjects, along with individual and group research projects and presentations, and class assignments.

The bifurcation is usually 60-40% or 30-70%, where the theory-based exams hold more weightage, followed by the practical component and assignments.
