Regarding your JoSAA counseling, it totally depends on whether you belong to a category or not. Secondly, you might want to reassess what you want to do in graduation and after graduation. In case you are determined for B.Tech then a better option would be to try again next year. However, if that option is not available then a number of good private institutions are available for you. So, right now your main concern should be about the branch that you want to pursue. I hope that you applied for exams like AMU, WBJEE AKTU, IPU etc. (registered for Thapar). JEE Main Reservation Criteria 2020 - National Testing Agency will release the official JEE Main reservation criteria 2020. . Candidates who belong to EWS, OBC, SC, ST, female candidates and Person with Disability (PwD) categories will be eligible to claim reservation in JEE Main.

In 2019, in JEE Mains the cut off for SC category was 54.01%. So with 65 % in JEE Mains of 2020 you have a chance for qualifying. You can get round off view of your rank by 100- your total score multiplied by 869010/100. Also, you can improve your score in coming JEE Mains of 2020.
