A minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation is a requisite for admission. A minimum aggregate score of 55% at post-graduate level is mandatory for admission into colleges for the B.Ed curriculum.

It depends on how much knowledge and application of the knowledge you learn in college. Apart from knowledge, skills are also required to learn. Also keep a good hold on subjects like fluid dynamics, heat, thermodynamics, etc.

You can get placement in mechanical engineering in NIT if you have strong hold in any one topic of your course like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, dynamics, etc. If you have no strong hold in any one topic of your course, then there is no chance of placement. Also, you have to maintain minimum 8 CGPA for good placement.

I have no idea of JNU- Delhi, but I don't think you should go for it as atmosphere is not good to stay focus on studies. Better to try for other colleges.

You can apply for TNEA exam, but you have to go to Tamil Nadu for giving this exam. Cutoff may be higher for other state candidates.
