10+2 is the basic qualification for pursuing most of the PR and journalism courses. There are certificate courses which don't have credibility. I would not advise you to go for those certificate courses.

B.Tech course is the better option. Selection will be on the basis of the engineering entrance examination and marks obtained in Plus Two or equivalent examinations in Science subjects. Students who pass the qualifying examination with at least 50 per cent marks in mathematics and as much in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biotechnology, computer Science or biology taken together are eligible to take the entrance examination. You may get a job in ISRO, DRDO, ONGC, BHEL, HEL, etc. Also, doing M.Tech is not a small thing. Also, IIT Madras is also a renowned government institute and a top college in India. So, I will suggest you to pursue M.Tech from IIT-Madras rather than looking for a job.

Hello Vinayak,
It's indeed very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing graduation in engineering. You can think of joining a college with evening timing if available in place of your work. Else you can think of completing AMIE which for all purposes including promotions is considered as equivalent to graduation in engineering.
