Candidates must passed their 10+2 with physics and mathematics assignment compulsory subjects.

A minimum 45% in the qualifing exam is compulsory.

Candidates belonging to (SC/ST) may be eligible with 40%.

Candidates needs to give JEE MAINS exam and they can get admission through HSTES counselling

The TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling process for getting admission into Kingston Engineering College is soley based on merit, which is determined by class 12 marks and there is no separate exam for the admission process. The TNEA 2025 rank list was released on June 27, 2025. The General Counselling Round 1 choice filling took place from July 14 to 16, 2025, while Choice Filling Round 3, designated for specific rank holders, is scheduled from August 7 to 9, 2025.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Kingston Engineering College, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the TNEA counseling process and score valid marks to be eligible for the course. Direct admissions can also be provided for management quota seats. To take admission through counseling, apply for counseling at the official website of the conducting body, and choose this college in the choice filling. To take direct admission, fill out the application form on the official website of the college.

Look for the state government colleges or some regional colleges like NEHU, SMVDU, Central University Jammu. Specifically look for branches like ME, CE or BT in these since in these colleges too CSE, ECE have way higher cutoff. And also look for maximus reservation you can get.

The JEE Main 2026 syllabus remains unchanged from the 2025 structure: it includes all topics from the NCERT Class 11 and 12 curriculum in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.); and for Paper?2A (B.Arch.) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) it covers Mathematics, General Aptitude, plus drawing or planning-based sections as applicable.

The examination is likely to be held in the fourth week of May 2026, with admit cards being released in the third week of May. After the declaration of results, the counselling process is expected to begin from the second week of June 2026. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official GGSIPU website for the final schedule and official notifications.
