Before joining, you need to learn nothing for CSE. They will teach you everything from 1st semester onwards, so nothing to be worry. Still, if you know C+, Java from before then it is too good everything will be easy for you mainly the programming, but it is not that necessary. You will get to know everything after joining. Good Luck.

This course is good, only if you aim to work later abroad, as in INDIA there is literally no job available for this course.

The admission for Biotechnology are solely based on JEE mains ranking. While you will do counseling there you would have the option for filling biotechnology as a branch in various institute.

It is not possible to get admission in this college with your percentile. But, you can try for the other private colleges.

It is a tough choice to make, but I would have chosen NIT JAMSHEDPUR any day over BIT MESRA. See in the end it would be a NIT, and also don't expect much difference in academics in both institutes and also as far as I know there are also chances of PSU placement in NIT. So, go for it. BE in CSE at BIT MESRA would be my anytime choice over VIT. BIT MESRA is a GFTI, whereas VIT is just another private institute which is just over hyped. Also, an average placement package at BIT MESRA is INR. 6-7 lacs which is good enough. Truly speaking one should go for BIT MESRA. Hope it helps.
