It's not possible for you to get admission in any of the NITs with this rank. You have to go with other private institutes accepting JEE score. There are absolutely no chances for you to get free seat in any of the top colleges. You should go for only paid seats in the colleges you are eligible.

There is nothing as a best branch in engineering. Every branch has its different perks and its different advantages. It depends on your choice of interest. Also it depends on how much scope you can have in future. I suggest if you are interested in computers and electronics you can look into CSE and ECE branch. If you are more interested in cars and stuff look more into mechanical engineering. It just depends on your interest basically. Look up for your interests and explore it.
