No, it won't be helpful. Studying the formulae alone can be used just to solve the direct questions. Though BITSAT does not have questions with high difficulty, you need to prepare beyond just revising the formulae. BITSAT needs speed and accuracy. Hence after getting a strong foundation over the basics, you can practice the previous year papers and as many papers as you can which would improve your problem solving. You can note down all the formulae for revising them in the last days of preparation. All the best.

You have a good score, but as far as I know, Amrita University doesn't offer free seat for this rank. To know the details regarding the allotment process, you may refer:

You have to use Common rank. In other words, All India Rank.

Admission form is released from starting of June. So, do check websites regularly.

According to me, you should try for next round. Probably, you will get good college than this.
