Well, cutoffs differ for different courses such for Machine design you need above 720 GATE score. Similarly, For Cad-cam and automobile above 650 GATE score. For thermal above 680 GATE score. For production above 580 GATE score.

If any private college in west Bengal comes under WBJEE counselling, then yes you can apply for admission on the basis of JEE Mains rank.
