I don't think they support lateral entry, still if you want a definitive answer, contact Chandigarh JAC, since they are ones taking care of admissions in PEC and other colleges in Chandigarh.

No, it is absolutely not possible. AICTE does not allow distance courses. I would suggest you not to take admission anywhere an admission of such type is available. Regards.

Hi Vinaya,
If you have not appeared for the gate exam, then you will get admission through management quota. In management quota fees will be high (normally two times) and you will not receive any scholarships from government.

It is difficult to get computer Science engineering with 4969th rank in the entrance. I will suggest you to try for information technology, which is almost similar to computer Science engineering. Best of luck.

You should appear for COMEDK entrance test for getting admission in presidency college Bangalore for ECE branch. You cannot get admission directly via board scores. Best of luck.

I am afraid your 45% in the qualifying exam of class 12th will turn out to be your undoing. The eligibility conditions states that the general category students must obtain at least 50% marks in the class 12th examination.
