In conventional optics like imaging and non-imaging optics design, Many companies in India have Job prospects for example, many automotive companies (I. e Valeo, Hella, Varroc, Indo-Japan Lighting, TVS, Tata, Mahindra & Mahindra) look for non-imaging optical designers for making lighting systems and they also do look for imaging system engineers.

Structure of the M.Tech Entrance Exams
The GATE examination comprises of only one paper which is of 3 hours duration. It contains 60 questions. The paper carries a maximum of 100 marks. As you have scored 33% in HSC, please make sure that you have whether pass or not, it is generally mentioned on the certificate. If you have passed (sometimes 30 marks only), then you will be eligible for B.Sc Chemistry honors. If not pass, then not eligible. Now, you should visit your local college in your locality to know more about the admissions.
But, chances are very low at Maharaja Sayajirao-Baroda.
