It would be quite difficult to get CSE with this rank. You can expect IT or EC. , your rank is little bit high according to the cut-off of CSE. Thank you can also refer link for more information

It would be difficult with that rank to get into Computer Engineering Branch in Thapar, but if you decide to change your branch, you can get a seat.

Hi Sagar,
Yes, you can join this college after diploma. You will need to appear in the lateral entry entrance exam and participate in the counselling process. Although the seats are limited. But you can try for the same.

Every year, government colleges held counselling of this means for lateral entry and from attending this you can get government college for B.Tech in civil engineering.

As your SC rank is 26500, so you are eligible to participate in the counselling process. But getting a seat in this college will be difficult for you with this score. Although, I will suggest you to participate in the counselling process wisely and smartly and wait till the last round of the counselling process to get a seat.

The admission will be through JOSAA counselling process. And you need good score in JEE Mains to get a seat in this college. So, participate in the counselling process first.

As you have scored 91.07 in JEE mains exam 2019, so you are eligible to participate in the counselling process. But getting computer science engineering will be difficult in first round. Although I will suggest you to participate in the counselling process wisely and smartly and wait till the last round of the counselling process.
