Yes, DY Patil University is a good college for CSE. Its curriculum includes some niche specializations like artificial Intelligence, Human Interaction, Bio-Computation focusing on areas like machine learning, logical reasoning, probabilistic modeling and inference, natural language processing, cognition, computer vision, and computational biology. In NITS and IIITS maybe not as you are from general category. Take a year drop and prepare well or try to get admission in any private college.

It could be better as you will get some good facilities and more opportunities due to the fact that you are in a government college. If you are concerned with your studies then it could be better than the state colleges. You will definitely get problems regarding infrastructure. But then you have to choose according to your priorities.

For list of colleges based on JEE Mains Percentile/Rank you can check the below link -
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
For SASTRA - it gives admission based on total percentile calculated based on JEE and 12th percentage. Most of the seats are filled through this. Around 25-30% seats are filled based on 12th percentage. (1) Stream 1 (based on JEE Main 2019 scores and +2 Marks) for 70% of seats (2) Stream 2 (based on +2 marks) for 30% of seats
Example: If a student secures AJEE Main percentile Score of 90 and normalized +2 aggregate is 95%, the combined score of the student will be (0.25*90) + (0.75*95

Hi Bubu, As you have scored 73.5 in class 12th board from CBSE. So, you are eligible to take admission in this college. But you need to have a valid JEE Mains score for getting admission in this college. If you have a valid score, then you should participate in the counselling process. Best of luck.

Hi Jessica, Yes, if a student is not eligible for JEE advance, he will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for NIT colleges. Although the chances of getting an NIT may be low. Best of luck.

Hi Zaid, As you have completed your Diploma in electronics engineering in 2017, so you are eligible to take admission in Bachelors programme in Canada with your score. But you will get middle order colleges only with this score. Best of luck.
