The Board of Regents of University of Texas on July 11, 2007, renamed the College of Engineering at the University of Texas, Austin, to the Cockrell School of Engineering. The name was renamed to honor the late Ernest Cockrell Jr. of Houston who was a 1936 graduate of the university who did his bachelor and master degrees in petroleum engineering.
Ernest Cockrell Jr. died in 1972 and in 1974 Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall, a primary engineering building on the campus, was named in his memory.

RGUKT (IIIT Basara): Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies offers three specialisations under M.Tech course to the candidates. The latest cutoff information for master of computer applications(mca) at christ university karnataka is:
1.First you should hold a bachelor degree with minimum 50%
2.Studied mathematics and computer science
There is no fixed score and cutoff published but still selection is based on christ university entrance test(cuet)

To get an admission in M.Tech at DY Patil University Navi Mumbai you must hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering fields with minimum marks of 50% and 45% for reserved catagories. There is also an entrance exam of DY Patil University for PG for which is called DYPRAIT-PG. You can get admission through this exam also
