You need to have a good percentage in JEE mains exam as your score is not good enough to get seat in the 1st round of counseling itself. Just wait for the other counseling, where you may get chance of getting admission in particular NIT of your choice.

You have missed your cutoff by really slender margin. General category cutoff has been placed at 89.75. by JoSAA. Due to this you cannot register for admission in NIT's etc. However, do not loose hope. You may still be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, if your percentile is better than the one to be announced by NTA. Best wishes.
