2. Bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or Master's degree in a subject other than English.

Eligibility for MA in English is as follows: Candidate should have passed 3 years Bachelor's examination under any recognized university in any discipline and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks for SC / ST candidates) to be eligible for MA in English.

Candidates must have hold of Honours/Spl. Honours/ graduation degree under 10+2+3 pattern the relevant /concerned subject from a recognized university. A candidate must have passed the qualifying degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45 % for SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled, etc.).

On the website of Dibrugarh University, I could not find any information on eligibility. However, another web portal is saying that one can appear for the entrance exam for admission in MA English provided the candidate has obtained 40% marks in graduation.

I think so, yes. You have obtained quite reasonable marks in 12th. But to be sure, have a dialogue with the administration of this college in Faridabad.
