Along with this must follow the age criteria. If you want to appear for JRF then your age must not more than 30 years. For assistant professor, this rule is not valuable because there is no age limit.

On the website of Dibrugarh University, I could not find any information on eligibility. However, another web portal is saying that one can appear for the entrance exam for admission in MA English provided the candidate has obtained 40% marks in graduation.
