International students whose native language is not English need to submit English Language Proficiency test scores accepted by USW. The University of South Wales recognizes a number of English language qualifications that include:
- IELTS with an average overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
- TOEFL with a score of 72 overall and a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking, and 17 in writing.
- PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI with a score of 64 overall and 59 in each component.
