Let me tell you that after BA, MA would be like an icing on the cake but you have other options like you can go for MBA, LLB and can also go for civil services like UPSC as you have mentioned that your elders asked you to pursue mass communication. Let me tell you that here comes the point of getting confused as students get confused. A student should either listen to what his/her elders say or do what they want. Why do you think you need to improve your English? Is it just because you live in a village? If yes, then you have to boost your confidence rather than your English skills. But if no, then you have to think which part is lacking, is it your grammar or spoken English or both? If it is spoken English then you should watch more online videos on spoken English from YouTube, spend some time in a local internet cafe if you don't have a connection at home but if you feel you are lacking in your grammar as well then I would suggest you go for a professional TOEFL or IELTS training program in any nearby town. Take practice tests and revise
