This programme is supported by ongoing research at the School of Social Sciences & Humanities, thus giving students a unique opportunity to gain solid grounding in cutting-edge theories and research and to critically reflect, discuss and write about topical issues from local, national and international perspectives. The BA (Hons) degree is intellectually demanding preparation for a wide range of professional occupations, and certainly moulds students into highly skilled, versatile, independent thinkers with interpersonal skills that will set them apart.

Not worth dropping one year. Try to get a decent college and give a head start to yourself for your Masters. Start the preparation from very beginning so that you'll be able to convert a very good college.
