MA in English will provide you opportunities in limited field of writing and editing but MA in mass communication will open doors in various fields allowing you to chose your career from a wide range of streams write from writing, editing, media, news, film and TV production, radio, advertising, PR, etc.
But anyways, your choice should always depend on your interest and passion.

If you want to be a travel journalist for print media, the answer will be yes. But, if you want to be a travel journalist with broadcast media, the answer is may be. This difference in answer is because of the course you have specified. BA in English (Hons.) will help you improving your English skills but the skills of speaking in a TV show, hosting a show, facing the camera are the things that are taught in a mass communication course and have nothing to do with English (Hons.).
