A Maters degree in Environmental Science can be pursued if a candidate has a Bachelors in Engineering or technology in environmental or civil engineering. Since, you have a B.Tech degree you automatically qualify to apply for M.Tech in environmental studies. You should also have appeared and cleared the GATE entrance exam. M.Tech Environmental Science Eligibility
They should a pass degree of B.E./B.Tech. In CS/IT /Biotech/ Environmental Sciences or Master's degree in Programming/ Mathematics/Sciences.
* Hence, its not possible for an ECE graduate to opt for ME/M.Tech in environmental studies. There can be a possibility that some college may offer but the probability is quite low.

Hi,
Environment has been a subject of practice that is much prevalent. However, the field involves more of public interest litigations as Mr. M.C.Mehta has been known for being an environmental activist.
Also, the environment lawyering is not much profitable as it's for a cause lawyering.
Rest, one must prefer practicing at the High Court for better cases.
