Environmental engineering has a very good branch and have lot of scope nowadays. After declaring the result, you have to fill the form of Polytechnic and choice the course which you like on the basis of merit, you are eligible for CAP round.

Sorry my friend but IIT does't give lateral entry. Also, the Diploma courses are of 3 years which means that you are unable to give the exam of IIT main this year.

Hello Sakshi, It's indeed great to see your interest in environment studies inspite of graduating in electronics & communication. But these days admissions to all PG seats are based in some or the other entrance exam. Majority of colleges or universities accept GATE. Unfortunately admissions to PG, based on merit of graduation is non existent to my knowledge.
