No matter you do Diploma or MBA in event management. You need to have some skills such as creativity, work under pressure, networking, presence of mind, and experience. These degrees and diplomas are just an add on nothing beyond that so they won't provide you any hikes in the salary but your experience will definitely work for you.

Yes, you can pursue BBA from any government. Recognised university. BBA is a three year undergraduate course which teaches basics in business and management and students who have passed their 12th standards are eligible to pursue this course irrespective of what subjects they studied in their 12th standard. A candidate must have minimum 50% in the relevant course. The stream may be any either Science, arts or Commerce.

Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology BHMCT and Bachelor of Hotel Management BHM have almost similar scope. The only different between these courses is that the BHM course curriculum revolves only around the functions and operations of a hotel whereas BHMCT includes catering services as well.
