The GRE exam pattern consists of two main types:
• The GRE General Test
• The GRE Subject Tests
The GRE General Test measures various skills of an aspirant. GRE test pattern evaluates a candidates verbal, quantitative, critical thinking and analytical writing skills. The skills are covered in three sections Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Writing. However, as per the GRE test pattern, the GRE Subject Test evaluates a candidates knowledge in specific fields.

The questions will consist of objective-type questions.
the total duration for the exam is 4 hours and is for a total of 200 marks for OTA.
The question papers for General Knowledge will be set in bilingually in Hindi and English. The exam will comprise 2 subjects, English and General Knowledge, and each subject consists of 100 marks.
The time duration for each subject is 2 hours.
and for each correct answer, the candidate is awarded 1 mark and for each wrong answer 1/3 marks are deducted and 0 is awarded for umattempted.

The computer-based test used in the RRB ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) exam pattern for CBT 1 evaluates candidates' aptitude in a range of courses. There are four portions of the exam, each with twenty questions in mathematics, twenty questions in general science, twenty questions in general intelligence and reasoning, and ten questions in general awareness and current affairs. The exam consists of seventy-five multiple-choice questions. Examinees have sixty minutes to finish the test, and each question is worth one mark. No, NTA has not announced any change in JEE Main 2026 exam pattern. However, NTA made changes in JEE Main exam pattern in 2025. As per the current JEE exam pattern, the total number of questions in JEE Main Paper 1 (BE/BTech) are 75, 25 each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Also, there are no optional question in section B in any subject. Students will need to answer all 5 questions in section B from all three subjects. The marking scheme and total marks remain the same.
