Hello, you get to choose your area of specialisation in the 2nd year. The first year is same for all. You will get a list of subjects in the 2nd year from which you will have to choose.

Hello,
The fees for 2 years is approx 20000 rs. Along with this you will have to give approx 35000 each year towards the Management Science Association, the student body. Talking about the hostel charges, it depends upon which hostel you take. If you opt for a PG or flat outside, it will cost you approx 10-15k per month.

We don't disclose the company's name and what package they offered. But the highest international package offered this year at FMS was 1 crore (approx).

Hi Siddharth,
Last years cut-off for FMS was 98.6. It is safe to assume that the minimum required percentile is usually close to this.

Hello,
For the batch of 2017-19, you will have to give the CAT exam which will be held somewhere in October or November. And the interviews will be held in around April. Talking about the study material, if you haven't joined any institute, you can buy their study material from the institutes like TIME, Career Launcher, etc. Also, you can buy Arun Sharma CAT preparation books.

Dear Abhishek,
The cutoff for general category, during 2015-17 batch admission was 98.54 percentile. FMS has a well defined course structure for all specializations. IT is one of the most chosen specializations by our students. Apart from this, several IT organizations also visit FMS for placements, every year.

Every student who gets into FMS is ELIGIBLE for campus placements. Your academic scores won't cause a problem in your eligibility for the campus placements.

If you are talking about how to get into FMS, then you need to appear for the CAT exam first. On the basis of the score you might be called in for an interview round to offer a final seat. Also, the eligibility criteria is as follows:Candidates applying for admission to the Two Year Full-Time MBA must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline after 12 years of formal schooling with at least 50% marks (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45%) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's Degree may also apply. And yes it might be the case that open university would get less preferenc

FMS Admission is a 2 stages process. The first stage is appearing for the CAT Exam conducted by the IIMs. Second stage is GD PI. Only topper are able to make it to FMS.m
