Yes, a commerce student can surely become a fashion designer. Fashion designing is one of those industries that doesn't require students from any particular stream. You are also eligible for any acting course even if you belong to commerce background. Yes, you can do both but just understand its versatility of subjects as both are different types of subjects. Hello there, To get admission in Hindustan Arts and Science college for B.Sc. In costume and fashion design is that you have to score about 50-55%. There is 60 intake for the same and course duration will be of 3 years. Admission of all the courses is either based on the merit of candidates last qualifying exam or on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the Bharathiar University, except for MCA. For fashion design there is master diploma programme in Dream Zone School of Creative Studies. The fee structure for the same is 120,000 INR. It is a 6 months duration course. Along with that, the institute also provide professional program in fashion design. The fee structure for the same is 70,000 INR. It is also 6 months duration program.
