The admission process generally varies across colleges. Most institutes who offer the course admit students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test. Some institutes conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. A few institutes also provide direct admission based on the candidates score at the 10+2 level. Candidates who have qualified the All India Entrance Exam of ICAR are eligible for admission to agricultural universities that offers forestry courses. You are eligible to pursue the course given that you score well in the VET exams conducted by the university.
The eligibility to enroll into the course is Minimum 50% aggregate at 10+2 level with Biology/Maths/Agriculture from any recognized Board or equivalent. Maximum age limit: 22 years.

Please refer the below pattern to understand the syllabus and other details regarding GGU - Entrance Exam. Bachelors in Science - Forestry. There shall be one paper of 120 minutes (2hrs) duration carrying 100 marks containing 100 multiple-choice questions. This will be divided into two sections. Section I is compulsory and will have 30 questions from Physics and 30 questions from Chemistry. Section II will have 40 questions of Maths/Bio./Agriculture/ Biotech. Yes, you can apply. The eligibility criteria is as under. Eligibility :- Three years Bachelor's degree in Science with at least one of the subjects namely Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Forestry with minimum 50% marks. Further, the admission for M.Sc Programs are done through the entrance exam.
