Yes - the field of study you choose can become one of the major reasons for receiving a rejection on your French student visa application. The visa authorities assess your profile on the basis of your study experience, work experience and Letter of recommendations and if they find that the course or major you choose to study in France is highly irrelevant to your previous qualifications, then they might give you a rejection on your visa aaplication.

Vatel Hotel and Tourism B-School does not usually serve Indian food across its campuses in France. It primarly serves traditional French and European cuisines to match the local hospitality curriculum.
Students mostly have to look off-campus to find Indian food options. External platforms can be used to look for Indian resturants in France.

Vatel and Institut Lyfe are two of the top hospitality schools in France for Indian students to consider. As to which is better of the two for Indian students, depends on what a student is looking for.
Given below is how they compare across different factors:
| Factor | Vatel France | Institut Lyfe |
|---|---|---|
| Best for |
|
|
| Academic Style | Balanced 50-50 theory and pratical model | Highly-intensive with Michelin-star standards |
| Tuition and Cost | EUR 10,000 to EUR 15,000 (INR 11.15 Lakhs to INR 16.7 Lakhs) per year | EUR 20,000 (INR 22.3 Lakhs) per year |
