In B.A. (Honours), students specialize in a particular subject right from the start and receive a thorough grounding in that subject whereas in a regular B.A, students study three subjects and get the option to choose your subject of choice only at a later stage in your degree

Yes, you can take admission in 2nd year directly but you will have to fill the lateral entry form and you will have to be eligible for all the qualifications required for the second year lateral entry.

You can take admission directly in the second year, if you have done 1st year from other college. So either complete your graduation from there or take a fresh admission.

Hello sagar, Yes, you can do that. It was not valid one year ago but last year in july, University Grants Commission (U. G. C. ) approved that a student can pursue two degrees at the same time but not as a regular student. The rule says "One degree as a regular student and another degree through open/distance learning". So you can pursue one regular degree from the university of your choice and another one from an open university I. e. IGNOU, VMOU etc. And if your university supports open/distance learning than you can pursue both degrees from the same university.

Yes, there is a difference in the accreditation of college or university. In distance university in affiliated by DEC, Distance Education Council and regular courses are affiliated with UGC. Affiliation with UGC is more valuable. So do a regular B.A. And then prepare of IAS.
