I would be happy to understand your current stage of progress including academics, courses, hobbies and other interests to help you understand what in you can lead to game design and also what aspect of game design can suit you better. In most cases a broader learning like a combination of graphics, multimedia, web design, VFX, 2d and 3d animation, can lead to a better preparation towards launching oneself into a gaming career.

Yes, you can definitely opt for game designing after BCA. Game designing is a very trending field nowadays. You should look for an institute which can provide you with this course. There is a very high demand if graphic and web designers and 2D, 3D animators in today's world. ZICA Institute (ZEE Institute of Creative Arts) offers a wide range of courses in the animation, Graphic design, VFX etc. They are also possible levels of the courses including Degree, diploma and certifications.
Eligibility:
It is the basic required for the mentioned courses:
1. Diploma/Certification, Class 10th pass from a recognized board with minimum 40% marks.
2. Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
3. There is NO entrance exam involved.

Although it is not a mandate, however game design courses offer great combination of applications and animation could be one of them hence the knowledge of animation is imperative.That is the reason that many institutes add basics of animation in the learning of game design.

To become a Game Designer, you must get a good knowledge of 3D software as well as pre-production. Usually in Games the environment is created in 3DSMax and Character animations in Maya, only the models are made with less polygons and more textures.
So choose a program that Teaches you these software. It would not matter whether the program is called Game Design program or not. Rest, to become a Level Designer you must have a passion for game design. Also you must have passion for playing all kinds of games including:
1. Card Games
2. Dice Games.
3. Sports, etc.
The 3rd option is Game Design, where you design the game itself,
