Candidates willing to fill out GATE 2023 application form can find all the required details below:

  • Personal information should be required to be filled in, including name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents' name, etc. The GATE 2024 scorecard will be issued as per the name entered in the application form. Prefix/title such as Mr/ Shri/ Dr/ MS/ Smt, etc. should not be used before the name.
  • Address for communication (including PIN code)
  • Eligibility degree details
  • College name and address with PIN code
  • GATE paper (subject)
  • Choice of GATE examination cities

- A high-quality image of a candidate's photograph conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 200KB)

The GATE 2024 application correction facility will be provided from Novermber 7 to 11. Candidates who wish to make any changes in their GATE application form need to login on the GOAP portal during the correction window and make the required changes. Below, we have listed the steps to edit the GATE 2024 application form. -

  • Visit the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in
  • Click on the link GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS)'
  • Now, enter your log-in credentials
  • Make corrections in the GATE application form, as instructed.
  • Click on Save button

After completely filling out the GATE 2023 application form and submitting all the details, you will have to digitally sign and accept the GATE declaration, through which a candidate accepts that all the information provided by a candidate is true. No, a candidate does not need to send a printout of the GATE application form to the organising institute or any other GATE zonal offices. The application process for GATE 2023 is online and requires required documents, details that should be uploaded via the application process. It is required to keep a copy of the GATE application form for future reference. However, it is not required to send a hard copy of the GATE application form to the organising institute. While filling out the GATE application form, if a power cut or internet connection fails during the submission of the application process, the candidate has to get back online to the GATE 2024 website. That means a candidate has to log in again to the GOAPS website and continue the application process. GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is conducted annually. It will be held for 29 papers in February 2024 (tentatively). It will be an online exam.
